¹⁴ When the priests enter the Holy Place, they shall not go out of it into the outer court ^(A)without laying there the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. ^(B)They shall put on other garments before they go near to that which is for the people.”

¹⁹ And when they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall put off the garments in which they have been ministering ^(A)and lay them in the holy chambers. And ^(B)they shall put on other garments, ^(C)lest they transmit holiness to the people with their garments.

⁷ And he put ^(A)the coat on him and tied the sash around his waist and clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him and tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod around him, binding it to him with the band.^[a]

⁴ And the angel said to ^(A)those who were standing before him, ^(B)“Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, ^(C)I have taken your iniquity away from you, and ^(D)I will clothe you with pure vestments.” ⁵ And I said, ^(E)“Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by.
