God Hears Israel’s Groaning
23 Now it happened in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel (A)sighed because of the slavery, and they cried out; and (B)their cry for help because of their slavery rose up to God. 24 So (C)God heard their groaning; and God remembered (D)His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 25 (E)And God saw the sons of Israel, and God knew them.

The Israelites groaned because of their difficult labor, and they cried out;(A) and their cry for help ascended to God because of the difficult labor. 24 So God heard their groaning, and He remembered(B) His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.(C) 25 God saw the Israelites, and He took notice.(D)
