²¹ Keep watch of yourself before him and listen to his voice; ^(A)do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since ^(B)My name is in him.

The Ark Is Brought to Jerusalem

6 ^(A)Then David again gathered all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. ² And David arose and went with all the people who were with him ^[a]from ^[b](B)Baale-judah, to bring up from there the ark of God which is called by the ^(C)Name, the very name of Yahweh of hosts who ^(D)is ^[c]enthroned above the cherubim.

^5 (A)But you shall seek Yahweh at the place which Yahweh your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and there you shall come.

^11 (A)Then it will be that the place in which Yahweh your God will choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring all that I am commanding you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the ^[a]contribution of your hand, and all your choice votive offerings which you will vow to Yahweh.
