The Plague of Gnats

¹⁶ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your staff^(A) and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.”

The Plague of Hail

¹³ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, confront Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so that they may worship^(A) me,

⁴ Moses then wrote^(A) down everything the Lord had said.

He got up early the next morning and built an altar^(B) at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars^(C) representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
