Yahweh Remembers His Covenant

6 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for ^(A)by a strong hand he will let them go, and by a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”

⁴ But ^(A)Pharaoh will not listen to you. And I will ^[a]set My hand upon Egypt and ^(B)bring out My hosts, My people the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt by ^(C)great judgments. ^5 (D)Then the Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh, when I ^(E)stretch out My hand against Egypt and bring out the sons of Israel from their midst.”

¹⁵ For if by now I had sent forth My hand and struck you and your people with pestilence, you would then have been wiped out from the earth.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread

³ And Moses said to the people, “^(A)Remember this day in which you went out from Egypt, from the house of ^[a]slavery; for ^(B)by a strong hand Yahweh brought you out from this place. ^(C)And nothing leavened shall be eaten.

⁹ And ^(A)it will be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the law of Yahweh may be in your mouth; for with ^(B)a strong hand Yahweh brought you out of Egypt.

^14 (A)And it will be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ then you shall say to him, ‘^(B)With a strong hand Yahweh brought us out of Egypt, from the house of ^[a]slavery.
