¹⁵ And you are to speak to him and ^(A)put the words in his mouth; and I, even I, will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will instruct ^[a]you in what you shall do. ¹⁶ Moreover, ^(B)he shall speak for you to the people; and he will become as a mouth for you, and you will become as God to him.

Stone Tablets like the Former Ones

34 Now Yahweh said to Moses, “Carve out for yourself ^(A)two stone tablets like the former ones, and ^(B)I will write on the tablets the words that were on the former tablets which you shattered.

⁴ Then Jeremiah called ^(A)Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a ^[a](B)scroll ^[b]at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of Yahweh which He had spoken to him.

¹⁸ Then Baruch said to them, “He ^(A)dictated all these words to me, and I wrote them with ink on the book.”

²³ And it happened that when Jehudi had read three or four columns, the king cut it with a scribe’s knife and ^(A)threw it into the fire that was in the brazier, until all the scroll ^[a]was consumed in the fire that was in the brazier.
