¹² Now Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and ^[a]remain there, and ^(A)I will give you the stone tablets ^[b]with the ^[c]law and the commandment which I have written for their instruction.”

¹⁸ When He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses ^(A)the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, ^(B)written by the finger of God.

¹⁶ Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.

¹⁹ Now it happened, as soon as ^[a]Moses came near the camp, that ^(A)he saw the calf and the dancing; and Moses’ anger burned, and ^(B)he threw the tablets from his hands and shattered them ^[b]at the foot of the mountain.
