^21 (A)And everyone whose heart ^[a]stirred him and everyone whose spirit was willing came and brought the ^[b]contribution to Yahweh for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.

³ Moreover, in my pleasure in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already prepared for the holy ^[a]house,

⁵ of gold for the things of gold and of silver for the things of silver, that is, for all the work done by the hand of craftsmen. Who then would offer willingly ^[a]to ordain himself this day to Yahweh?”

⁹ Then the people were glad because they had offered so willingly, for they made their freewill offering to Yahweh ^(A)with a whole heart, and King David also was exceedingly glad.

⁶⁸ Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they arrived at the house of Yahweh which is in Jerusalem, gave a freewill offering for the house of God to ^[a]restore it on its foundation.

¹¹ But now complete ^[a]doing it also, so that just as there was the ^(A)readiness to desire it, so there may be also the completion of it from what you have. ¹² For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable ^(B)according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

⁷ Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not ^(A)grudgingly or under compulsion, for ^(B)God loves a cheerful giver.
