¹⁰ You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because ^(A)for this thing Yahweh your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you send forth your hand to do.

¹⁷ And I know, O my God, that ^(A)You try the heart and ^(B)delight in uprightness. I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these things. So now with gladness I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

⁸ or he who ^(A)exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with ^[a](B)generosity; ^(C)he who ^[b]leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with ^(D)cheerfulness.

¹² For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable ^(A)according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
