¹⁸ ‘^(A)Yahweh is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but ^(B)He will by no means clear the guilty, ^(C)visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children ^[a]to the third and the fourth generations.’

¹⁰ but ^(A)repays those who hate Him to ^[a]their faces, to make ^[b]them perish; He will not delay ^[c]with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face.
