12 Moses said to the Lord, “Look, you have told me, ‘Lead this people up,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You said, ‘I know you by name,(A) and you have also found favor with me.’ 13 Now if I have indeed found favor with you, please teach me your ways,(B) and I will know you, so that I may find favor with you. Now consider that this nation is your people.”(C)
14 And he replied, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”(D)
15 “If your presence does not go,” Moses responded to him, “don’t make us go up from here. 16 How will it be known that I and your people have found favor with you unless you go with us? I and your people will be distinguished by this from all the other people on the face of the earth.”(E)

12 Moses told the Lord, “Look, you have told me, ‘Bring up this people,’ but you haven’t let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, ‘I know you by name,’ and also, ‘You have found favor in my sight.’ 13 Now, if I’ve found favor in your sight, please show me your ways so I may know you in order to find favor in your sight. And remember,[a] this nation is your people.”
14 He said, “My presence will go with you, and I’ll give you rest.” 15 Then Moses[b] told the Lord,[c] “If your presence does not go with us,[d] don’t bring us up from here. 16 Otherwise,[e] how shall it be known that your people and I have received favor from you, unless you go with us and that we, your people and I, are distinguished from all the people on the surface of the earth?”

You have said, ‘I know you by name(B) and you have found favor(C) with me.’ 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways(D) so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”(E)
14 The Lord replied, “My Presence(F) will go with you, and I will give you rest.”(G)
15 Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence(H) does not go with us, do not send us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us?(I) What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”(J)
