^2 (A)The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of ^[a]a ^(B)bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed.

The Lord Visits Sinai

^18 (A)Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it ^(B)in fire; and its smoke ascended like ^(C)the smoke of a furnace, and ^(D)the whole mountain ^[a]quaked violently.

^13 [a]In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of ^(A)fire, ^[b]like torches darting back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was ^[c]flashing from the fire.

The Ancient of Days Reigns

⁴¹ “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘^(A)Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the ^(B)eternal fire which has been prepared for ^(C)the devil and his angels;

^13 (A)each man’s work will become evident; for ^(B)the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test ^[a]the quality of each man’s work.

²⁷ but a terrifying expectation of ^(A)judgment and ^(B)the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

²⁹ for ^(A)our God is a consuming fire.
