³ Then Moses came and recounted to the people all the words of Yahweh and all the judgments; and all the people answered with one voice and said, “^(A)All the words which Yahweh has spoken we will do!”

⁷ Then he took ^(A)the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “^(B)All that Yahweh has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!” ⁸ So ^(C)Moses took the blood and ^[a]sprinkled it on the people and said, “Behold ^(D)the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has cut with you ^[b]in accordance with all these words.”

² Yahweh our God cut ^(A)a covenant with us at Horeb. ^3 (B)Yahweh did not cut this covenant with our fathers, but with us, with all those of ^[a]us alive here today.

²⁷ As for you, go near and hear all that Yahweh our God says; then speak to us all that Yahweh our God speaks to you, and we will hear and do it.’

³² not like the ^(A)covenant which I cut with their fathers in the day I ^(B)took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My ^(C)covenant which they broke, but I was a husband to them,” declares Yahweh.
