He Walks Among Those Who Walk in His Statutes

26 ‘You shall not make for yourselves ^[a](A)idols, nor shall you set up for yourselves ^(B)a graven image or ^(C)a sacred pillar, nor shall you ^[b]place a ^(D)carved stone in your land to bow down ^[c]to it; for I am Yahweh your God.

¹⁵ ‘Cursed is the man who makes ^(A)a graven image or a molten image, an abomination to Yahweh, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ And ^(B)all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’

²³ and ^(A)exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the likeness of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
