2 They had traveled from Rephidim to the Sinai desert. The Israelites camped in the desert near Mount Sinai. 3 Then Moses climbed up the mountain to meet with God. The Lord spoke to him on the mountain and said, “Tell this to the Israelites, the great family of Jacob: 4 ‘You people saw what I did to the people of Egypt. You saw that I carried you out of Egypt like an eagle and brought you here to me.

New International Version
2 After they set out from Rephidim,(A) they entered the Desert of Sinai, and Israel camped there in the desert in front of the mountain.(B)
3 Then Moses went up to God,(C) and the Lord called(D) to him from the mountain and said, “This is what you are to say to the descendants of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: 4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt,(E) and how I carried you on eagles’ wings(F) and brought you to myself.(G)
