(D)You shall put the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban. And you shall take the anointing (E)oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him. Then (F)you shall bring his sons and put tunics on them. And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. (G)The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall (H)consecrate Aaron and his sons.

Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.(A) Take the garments(B) and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breastpiece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband.(C) Put the turban(D) on his head and attach the sacred emblem(E) to the turban. Take the anointing oil(F) and anoint him by pouring it on his head. Bring his sons and dress them in tunics(G) and fasten caps on them.
