⁴⁰ ‘Indeed, ^(A)I lift up My hand to heaven,
And say, as I live forever,

^28 (A)Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The ^(B)Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is ^(C)inscrutable.

¹⁰ But the Lord is the ^(A)true God;
He is the ^(B)living God and the ^(C)everlasting King.
At His wrath the ^(D)earth quakes,
And the nations cannot ^(E)endure His indignation.

¹² Are You not from ^(A)everlasting,
O Lord, my God, my Holy One?
We will not die.
You, O Lord, have ^(B)appointed them to judge;
And You, O ^(C)Rock, have established them to correct.
