The Ten Commandments^(A)

20 And God spoke ^(B)all these words, saying:

¹⁸ For I know that ^(A)in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. ¹⁹ For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. ²⁰ Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

²¹ I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. ²² For I ^(B)delight in the law of God according to ^(C)the inward man. ²³ But ^(D)I see another law in ^(E)my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me ^(F)from this body of death?

⁷ But ^(A)what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. ⁸ Yet indeed I also count all things loss ^(B)for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ ⁹ and be found in Him, not having ^(C)my own righteousness, which is from the law, but ^(D)that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; ¹⁰ that I may know Him and the ^(E)power of His resurrection, and ^(F)the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

²⁴ By faith ^(A)Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, ²⁵ choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the ^[a]passing pleasures of sin, ²⁶ esteeming ^(B)the ^[b]reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures ^[c]in Egypt; for he looked to the ^(C)reward.

²⁷ By faith ^(D)he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
