²¹ but whoever did not pay attention to the word of the Lord left his slaves and his livestock in the field.

¹² Then he said to me, ^(A)“Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you ^(B)set your heart to understand and ^(C)humbled yourself before your God, ^(D)your words have been heard, ^(E)and I have come because of your words.

⁴ And the man said to me, ^(A)“Son of man, ^(B)look with your eyes, and ^(C)hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you, for you were brought here in order that I might show it to you. ^(D)Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.”

¹⁹ Now ^(A)set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God. Arise and build the sanctuary of the Lord God, ^(B)so that the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy vessels of God may be brought into a house built ^(C)for the name of the Lord.”

²⁰ And about the time of her death the women attending her said to her, ^(A)“Do not be afraid, for you have borne a son.” But she did not answer or pay attention.

²³ Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he did not take even this to heart.
