²² But ^(A)the magicians of Egypt did the same by their secret arts. So ^(B)Pharaoh's heart remained hardened, and he would not listen to them, as ^(C)the Lord had said.

¹¹ Then Pharaoh summoned the wise men and the sorcerers, and they, the ^(A)magicians of Egypt, also ^(B)did the same by their secret arts.

⁸ Just as ^(A)Jannes and Jambres ^(B)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, ^(C)men corrupted in mind and ^(D)disqualified regarding the faith.

¹⁸ If they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, then ^(A)let them intercede with the Lord of hosts, ^(B)that the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon.

⁷ But ^(A)the magicians did the same by their secret arts and made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.

⁸ Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said, ^(B)“Plead with the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people, and ^(C)I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”
