Materials of the Tabernacle

^21 [a]This is the inventory of the tabernacle, ^(A)the tabernacle of the Testimony, which was counted according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, ^(B)by the hand of ^(C)Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.

God’s True Tabernacle

⁴⁴ “Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses ^(A)to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,

^6 (A)So the king called Jehoiada the chief priest, and said to him, “Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and from Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of ^(B)Moses the servant of the Lord and of the assembly of Israel, for the ^(C)tabernacle of witness?”

Departure from Sinai

¹¹ Now it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud ^(A)was taken up from above the tabernacle of the Testimony.

The Cloud and the Fire^(A)

¹⁵ Now ^(B)on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud ^(C)covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; ^(D)from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire.

^53 (A)but the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no ^(B)wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall ^(C)keep^[a] charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony.”

^50 (A)but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall attend to it ^(B)and camp around the tabernacle.

² Also bring with you your brethren of the ^(A)tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be ^(B)joined with you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the tabernacle of ^[a]witness.

⁷ And Moses placed the rods before the Lord in ^(A)the tabernacle of witness.

⁸ Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the ^(B)rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.
