^20 (A)“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.

² And when Shechem the son of ^(A)Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her, he seized her and lay with her and humiliated her.

¹⁹ the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, ²⁰ the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, ²¹ the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”

² So Aaron said to them, “Take off the ^(A)rings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.”

And I gave them into your hand.
