¹⁰ But he said to them, “The Lord be with you, if ever I let you and your ^(A)little ones go! Look, you have some evil purpose in mind.^[a]

¹⁵ Now, therefore, do not let Hezekiah deceive you or mislead you in this fashion, and do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or from the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you out of my hand!’”

²¹ And ^(A)the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

³⁰ And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians. And there was ^(A)a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where someone was not dead. ³¹ Then he summoned Moses and Aaron by night and said, “Up, go out from among my people, ^(B)both you and the people of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as you have said.
