³¹ And the people ^(A)believed; and when they heard that the Lord had ^(B)visited the people of Israel and that he had ^(C)seen their affliction, ^(D)they bowed their heads and worshiped.

¹⁸ And ^(A)they will listen to your voice, and you and the elders of Israel ^(B)shall go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has ^(C)met with us; and now, please let us go a three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.’

¹³ And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it ^(A)with joy. But these have no root; they ^(B)believe for a while, and in time of testing ^(C)fall away.

²⁷ you shall say, ^(A)‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord's Passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” And the people ^(B)bowed their heads and worshiped.
