³⁵ the people of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face was ^(A)shining. And Moses would put the veil over his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

The Shining Face of Moses

²⁹ When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with ^(A)the two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face ^(B)shone because he had been talking with God.^{[a] 30} Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face ^(C)shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

¹⁵ that you may be blameless and innocent, ^(A)children of God ^(B)without blemish ^(C)in the midst of ^(D)a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine ^(E)as lights in the world,

³⁵ He was a burning and ^(A)shining lamp, and ^(B)you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.

⁴³ Then ^(A)the righteous will shine like the sun ^(B)in the kingdom of their Father. ^(C)He who has ears, let him hear.
