Esther 9:4-6
New King James Version
4 For Mordecai was great in the king’s palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces; for this man Mordecai (A)became increasingly prominent. 5 Thus the Jews defeated all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, with slaughter and destruction, and did what they pleased with those who hated them.
6 And in (B)Shushan[a] the [b]citadel the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men.

Esther 9:4-6
New International Version
4 Mordecai(A) was prominent(B) in the palace; his reputation spread throughout the provinces, and he became more and more powerful.(C)
5 The Jews struck down all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying them,(D) and they did what they pleased to those who hated them. 6 In the citadel of Susa, the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men.
