14 Stand firm therefore, (A)having belted your waist with truth, and having (B)put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having (C)strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 [a]in addition to all, taking up the (D)shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the (E)flaming arrows of (F)the evil one. 17 And take (G)the helmet of salvation and the (H)sword of the Spirit, which is (I)the word of God.

18 [b]With every (J)prayer and request, [c](K)pray at all times (L)in the Spirit, and with this in view, [d](M)be alert with all (N)perseverance and every (O)request for all the [e]saints, 19 and (P)pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me (Q)in the opening of my mouth, to make known with (R)boldness (S)the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an (T)ambassador (U)in [f]chains; that [g]in proclaiming it I may speak (V)boldly, (W)as I ought to speak.

14 Stand therefore, (A)having fastened on the belt of truth, and (B)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, (C)as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up (D)the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all (E)the flaming darts of (F)the evil one; 17 and take (G)the helmet of salvation, and (H)the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying (I)at all times (J)in the Spirit, (K)with all prayer and supplication. To that end, (L)keep alert with all perseverance, making (M)supplication for all the saints, 19 and (N)also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth (O)boldly to proclaim (P)the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I (Q)am an ambassador (R)in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
