^20 (A)built on the foundation of the ^(B)apostles and prophets, ^(C)Christ Jesus himself being ^(D)the cornerstone, ^21 (E)in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into ^(F)a holy temple in the Lord. ²² In him ^(G)you also are being built together ^(H)into a dwelling place for God by^[a] the Spirit.

⁹ For we are ^(A)God's fellow workers. You are God's field, ^(B)God's building.

^10 (C)According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled^[a] master builder I laid a ^(D)foundation, and ^(E)someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. ¹¹ For no one can lay a ^(F)foundation other ^(G)than that which is laid, ^(H)which is Jesus Christ. ¹² Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— ^13 (I)each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed ^(J)by fire, and ^(K)the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. ¹⁴ If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, ^(L)he will receive a reward. ¹⁵ If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, ^(M)but only as through fire.

^16 (N)Do you not know that you^[b] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

^12 (A)to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for ^(B)building up ^(C)the body of Christ,

^16 (A)from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, ^(B)when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
