Ephesians 1:8-12

8 which He [a]lavished on [b]us. In all wisdom and insight 9 He [c](A)made known to us the mystery of His will, (B)according to His good pleasure which He (C)set forth in Him, 10 regarding His plan of (D)the fullness of the times, (E)to bring all things together in Christ, things [d]in the heavens and things on the earth. 11 [e]In Him we also (F)have obtained an inheritance, having been (G)predestined (H)according to the purpose of Him who works all things (I)in accordance with the plan of His will, 12 to the end that [f]we who were the first to hope in the [g]Christ would be (J)to the praise of His glory.

8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he[a] made known to us the mystery(A) of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed(B) in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment(C)—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.(D)
11 In him we were also chosen,[b] having been predestined(E) according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose(F) of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.(G)
