11 [a]In Him we also (A)have obtained an inheritance, having been (B)predestined (C)according to the purpose of Him who works all things (D)in accordance with the plan of His will, 12 to the end that [b]we who were the first to hope in the [c]Christ would be (E)to the praise of His glory. 13 In [d]Him, [e]you also, after listening to (F)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also [f]believed, you were (G)sealed in [g]Him with (H)the Holy Spirit of the promise, 14 who is a (I)first installment of (J)our inheritance, in regard to the (K)redemption of (L)God’s own possession, (M)to the praise of His glory.

15 For this reason I too, (N)having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and [h]your love for (O)all the [i]saints, 16 (P)do not cease giving thanks for you, (Q)while making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the (R)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, (S)the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of (T)wisdom and of (U)revelation in the [j]knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that (V)the eyes of your heart [k]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the (W)hope of His (X)calling, what are (Y)the riches of the glory of (Z)His inheritance in (AA)the [l]saints,

11 ἐν ᾧ καὶ ἐκληρώθημεν προορισθέντες κατὰ πρόθεσιν τοῦ τὰ πάντα ἐνεργοῦντος κατὰ τὴν βουλὴν τοῦ θελήματος αὐτοῦ, 12 εἰς τὸ εἶναι ἡμᾶς εἰς ἔπαινον δόξης αὐτοῦ τοὺς προηλπικότας ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ· 13 ἐν ᾧ καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀκούσαντες τὸν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας, τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς σωτηρίας ὑμῶν, ἐν ᾧ καὶ πιστεύσαντες ἐσφραγίσθητε τῷ πνεύματι τῆς ἐπαγγελίας τῷ ἁγίῳ, 14 [a]ὅ ἐστιν ἀρραβὼν τῆς κληρονομίας ἡμῶν, εἰς ἀπολύτρωσιν τῆς περιποιήσεως, εἰς ἔπαινον τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ.

15 Διὰ τοῦτο κἀγώ, ἀκούσας τὴν καθ’ ὑμᾶς πίστιν ἐν τῷ κυρίῳ Ἰησοῦ καὶ τὴν [b]ἀγάπην τὴν εἰς πάντας τοὺς ἁγίους, 16 οὐ παύομαι εὐχαριστῶν ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν [c]μνείαν ποιούμενος ἐπὶ τῶν προσευχῶν μου, 17 ἵνα ὁ θεὸς τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, ὁ πατὴρ τῆς δόξης, δώῃ ὑμῖν πνεῦμα σοφίας καὶ ἀποκαλύψεως ἐν ἐπιγνώσει αὐτοῦ, 18 πεφωτισμένους τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν εἰς τὸ εἰδέναι ὑμᾶς τίς ἐστιν ἡ ἐλπὶς τῆς κλήσεως αὐτοῦ, [d]τίς ὁ πλοῦτος τῆς δόξης τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις,

Ephesians 1:11-18
New International Version

11 In him we were also chosen,[a] having been predestined(A) according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose(B) of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.(C) 13 And you also were included in Christ(D) when you heard the message of truth,(E) the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal,(F) the promised Holy Spirit,(G) 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance(H) until the redemption(I) of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.(J)

Thanksgiving and Prayer

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus(K) and your love for all God’s people,(L) 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you,(M) remembering you in my prayers.(N) 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,(O) may give you the Spirit[b] of wisdom(P) and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened(Q) in order that you may know the hope to which he has called(R) you, the riches(S) of his glorious inheritance(T) in his holy people,(U)
