¹⁹ Everyone also to whom ^(A)God has given ^(B)wealth and possessions ^(C)and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is ^(D)the gift of God.

¹⁸ You shall remember the Lord your God, for ^(A)it is he who gives you power to get wealth, ^(B)that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

¹³ also ^(A)that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is ^(B)God's gift to man.

² a man ^(A)to whom ^(B)God gives wealth, possessions, and honor, so that he ^(C)lacks nothing of all that he desires, yet God ^(D)does not give him power to enjoy them, but a stranger enjoys them. This is vanity;^[a] it is a grievous evil.
