Deuteronomy 32
New International Version
32 Listen,(A) you heavens,(B) and I will speak;
hear, you earth, the words of my mouth.(C)
2 Let my teaching fall like rain(D)
and my words descend like dew,(E)
like showers(F) on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.
3 I will proclaim(G) the name of the Lord.(H)
Oh, praise the greatness(I) of our God!
4 He is the Rock,(J) his works are perfect,(K)
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God(L) who does no wrong,
upright(M) and just is he.(N)
5 They are corrupt and not his children;
to their shame they are a warped and crooked generation.(O)
6 Is this the way you repay(P) the Lord,
you foolish(Q) and unwise people?(R)
Is he not your Father,(S) your Creator,[a]
who made you and formed you?(T)
7 Remember the days of old;(U)
consider the generations long past.(V)
Ask your father and he will tell you,
your elders, and they will explain to you.(W)
8 When the Most High(X) gave the nations their inheritance,
when he divided all mankind,(Y)
he set up boundaries(Z) for the peoples
according to the number of the sons of Israel.[b](AA)
9 For the Lord’s portion(AB) is his people,
Jacob his allotted inheritance.(AC)
10 In a desert(AD) land he found him,
in a barren and howling waste.(AE)
He shielded(AF) him and cared for him;
he guarded him as the apple of his eye,(AG)
11 like an eagle that stirs up its nest
and hovers over its young,(AH)
that spreads its wings to catch them
and carries them aloft.(AI)
12 The Lord alone led(AJ) him;(AK)
no foreign god was with him.(AL)
13 He made him ride on the heights(AM) of the land
and fed him with the fruit of the fields.
He nourished him with honey from the rock,(AN)
and with oil(AO) from the flinty crag,
14 with curds and milk from herd and flock
and with fattened lambs and goats,
with choice rams of Bashan(AP)
and the finest kernels of wheat.(AQ)
You drank the foaming blood of the grape.(AR)
15 Jeshurun[c](AS) grew fat(AT) and kicked;
filled with food, they became heavy and sleek.
They abandoned(AU) the God who made them
and rejected the Rock(AV) their Savior.
16 They made him jealous(AW) with their foreign gods
and angered(AX) him with their detestable idols.
17 They sacrificed(AY) to false gods,(AZ) which are not God—
gods they had not known,(BA)
gods that recently appeared,(BB)
gods your ancestors did not fear.
18 You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot(BC) the God who gave you birth.
19 The Lord saw this and rejected them(BD)
because he was angered by his sons and daughters.(BE)
20 “I will hide my face(BF) from them,” he said,
“and see what their end will be;
for they are a perverse generation,(BG)
children who are unfaithful.(BH)
21 They made me jealous(BI) by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols.(BJ)
I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.(BK)
22 For a fire will be kindled by my wrath,(BL)
one that burns down to the realm of the dead below.(BM)
It will devour(BN) the earth and its harvests(BO)
and set afire the foundations of the mountains.(BP)
23 “I will heap calamities(BQ) on them
and spend my arrows(BR) against them.
24 I will send wasting famine(BS) against them,
consuming pestilence(BT) and deadly plague;(BU)
I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts,(BV)
the venom of vipers(BW) that glide in the dust.(BX)
25 In the street the sword will make them childless;
in their homes terror(BY) will reign.(BZ)
The young men and young women will perish,
the infants and those with gray hair.(CA)
26 I said I would scatter(CB) them
and erase their name from human memory,(CC)
27 but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy,
lest the adversary misunderstand(CD)
and say, ‘Our hand has triumphed;
the Lord has not done all this.’”(CE)
28 They are a nation without sense,
there is no discernment(CF) in them.
29 If only they were wise and would understand this(CG)
and discern what their end will be!(CH)
30 How could one man chase a thousand,
or two put ten thousand to flight,(CI)
unless their Rock had sold them,(CJ)
unless the Lord had given them up?(CK)
31 For their rock is not like our Rock,(CL)
as even our enemies concede.(CM)
32 Their vine comes from the vine of Sodom(CN)
and from the fields of Gomorrah.
Their grapes are filled with poison,(CO)
and their clusters with bitterness.(CP)
33 Their wine is the venom of serpents,
the deadly poison of cobras.(CQ)
34 “Have I not kept this in reserve
and sealed it in my vaults?(CR)
35 It is mine to avenge;(CS) I will repay.(CT)
In due time their foot will slip;(CU)
their day of disaster is near
and their doom rushes upon them.(CV)”
36 The Lord will vindicate his people(CW)
and relent(CX) concerning his servants(CY)
when he sees their strength is gone
and no one is left, slave(CZ) or free.[d]
37 He will say: “Now where are their gods,
the rock they took refuge in,(DA)
38 the gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices
and drank the wine of their drink offerings?(DB)
Let them rise up to help you!
Let them give you shelter!
39 “See now that I myself am he!(DC)
There is no god besides me.(DD)
I put to death(DE) and I bring to life,(DF)
I have wounded and I will heal,(DG)
and no one can deliver out of my hand.(DH)
40 I lift my hand(DI) to heaven and solemnly swear:
As surely as I live forever,(DJ)
41 when I sharpen my flashing sword(DK)
and my hand grasps it in judgment,
I will take vengeance(DL) on my adversaries
and repay those who hate me.(DM)
42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood,(DN)
while my sword devours flesh:(DO)
the blood of the slain and the captives,
the heads of the enemy leaders.”
43 Rejoice,(DP) you nations, with his people,[e][f]
for he will avenge the blood of his servants;(DQ)
he will take vengeance on his enemies(DR)
and make atonement for his land and people.(DS)
44 Moses came with Joshua[g](DT) son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day,(DU) so that you may command(DV) your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life.(DW) By them you will live long(DX) in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
Moses to Die on Mount Nebo
48 On that same day the Lord told Moses,(DY) 49 “Go up into the Abarim(DZ) Range to Mount Nebo(EA) in Moab, across from Jericho,(EB) and view Canaan,(EC) the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. 50 There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die(ED) and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died(EE) on Mount Hor(EF) and was gathered to his people. 51 This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh(EG) in the Desert of Zin(EH) and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.(EI) 52 Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance;(EJ) you will not enter(EK) the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”

32 “诸天哪，侧耳，我要说话，愿地也听我口中的言语！ 2 我的教训要淋漓如雨，我的言语要滴落如露，如细雨降在嫩草上，如甘霖降在菜蔬中。 3 我要宣告耶和华的名，你们要将大德归于我们的神！ 4 他是磐石，他的作为完全，他所行的无不公平，是诚实无伪的神，又公义又正直。 5 这乖僻弯曲的世代向他行事邪僻，有这弊病，就不是他的儿女！ 6 愚昧无知的民哪，你们这样报答耶和华吗？他岂不是你的父，将你买来的吗？他是制造你，建立你的。 7 你当追想上古之日，思念历代之年。问你的父亲，他必指示你；问你的长者，他必告诉你。 8 至高者将地业赐给列邦，将世人分开，就照以色列人的数目立定万民的疆界。 9 耶和华的份本是他的百姓，他的产业本是雅各。 10 耶和华遇见他在旷野荒凉野兽吼叫之地，就环绕他，看顾他，保护他，如同保护眼中的瞳人； 11 又如鹰搅动巢窝，在雏鹰以上两翅搧展，接取雏鹰，背在两翼之上。 12 这样，耶和华独自引导他，并无外邦神与他同在。 13 耶和华使他乘驾地的高处，得吃田间的土产；又使他从磐石中咂蜜，从坚石中吸油。 14 也吃牛的奶油，羊的奶，羊羔的脂油，巴珊所出的公绵羊和山羊，与上好的麦子；也喝葡萄汁酿的酒。 15 但耶书仑渐渐肥胖，粗壮，光润，踢跳奔跑，便离弃造他的神，轻看救他的磐石。 16 敬拜别神，触动神的愤恨；行可憎恶的事，惹了他的怒气。 17 所祭祀的鬼魔并非真神，乃是素不认识的神，是近来新兴的，是你列祖所不畏惧的。 18 你轻忽生你的磐石，忘记产你的神。 19 耶和华看见他的儿女惹动他，就厌恶他们， 20 说：‘我要向他们掩面，看他们的结局如何。他们本是极乖僻的族类，心中无诚实的儿女。 21 他们以那不算为神的触动我的愤恨，以虚无的神惹了我的怒气，我也要以那不成子民的触动他们的愤恨，以愚昧的国民惹了他们的怒气。 22 因为在我怒中有火烧起，直烧到极深的阴间，把地和地的出产尽都焚烧，山的根基也烧着了。 23 我要将祸患堆在他们身上，把我的箭向他们射尽。 24 他们必因饥饿消瘦，被炎热苦毒吞灭。我要打发野兽用牙齿咬他们，并土中腹行的用毒气害他们。 25 外头有刀剑，内室有惊恐，使人丧亡，使少男、童女、吃奶的、白发的尽都灭绝。 26 我说，我必将他们分散远方，使他们的名号从人间除灭； 27 唯恐仇敌惹动我，只怕敌人错看，说：“是我们手的能力，并非耶和华所行的。”’ 28 因为以色列民毫无计谋，心中没有聪明。 29 唯愿他们有智慧，能明白这事，肯思念他们的结局！ 30 若不是他们的磐石卖了他们，若不是耶和华交出他们，一人焉能追赶他们千人，二人焉能使万人逃跑呢？ 31 据我们的仇敌自己断定，他们的磐石不如我们的磐石。 32 他们的葡萄树是所多玛的葡萄树，蛾摩拉田园所生的；他们的葡萄是毒葡萄，全挂都是苦的； 33 他们的酒是大蛇的毒气，是虺蛇残害的恶毒。 34 ‘这不都是积蓄在我这里，封锁在我府库中吗？ 35 他们失脚的时候，申冤报应在我；因他们遭灾的日子近了，那要临在他们身上的必速速来到。’ 36 耶和华见他百姓毫无能力，无论困住的、自由的都没有剩下，就必为他们申冤，为他的仆人后悔。 37 他必说：‘他们的神，他们所投靠的磐石， 38 就是向来吃他们祭牲的脂油，喝他们奠祭之酒的，在哪里呢？他可以兴起帮助你们，护卫你们！’ 39 ‘你们如今要知道，我，唯有我是神！在我以外并无别神。我使人死，我使人活，我损伤，我也医治，并无人能从我手中救出来。 40 我向天举手说，我凭我的永生起誓： 41 我若磨我闪亮的刀，手掌审判之权，就必报复我的敌人，报应恨我的人。 42 我要使我的箭饮血饮醉，就是被杀被掳之人的血；我的刀要吃肉，乃是仇敌中首领之头的肉。’ 43 你们外邦人，当与主的百姓一同欢呼！因他要申他仆人流血的冤，报应他的敌人；洁净他的地，救赎他的百姓。”

44 摩西和嫩的儿子约书亚去将这歌的一切话说给百姓听。 45 摩西向以色列众人说完了这一切的话， 46 又说：“我今日所警教你们的，你们都要放在心上，要吩咐你们的子孙谨守遵行这律法上的话。 47 因为这不是虚空与你们无关的事，乃是你们的生命，在你们过约旦河要得为业的地上，必因这事日子得以长久。”

To new gods, new arrivals
That your fathers did not fear.

19 “And(AJ) when the Lord saw it, He spurned them,
Because of the provocation of His sons and His daughters.
20 And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them,
I will see what their end will be,
For they are a perverse generation,

21 (AL)They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God;
They have moved Me to anger (AM)by their [f]foolish idols.
But (AN)I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation;
I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.
22 For (AO)a fire is kindled in My anger,
And shall burn to the [g]lowest [h]hell;
It shall consume the earth with her increase,
And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 ‘I will (AP)heap disasters on them;
(AQ)I will spend My arrows on them.
24 They shall be wasted with hunger,
Devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction;
I will also send against them the (AR)teeth of beasts,
With the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword shall destroy outside;
There shall be terror within
For the young man and virgin,
The nursing child with the man of gray hairs.
26 (AS)I would have said, “I will dash them in pieces,
I will make the memory of them to cease from among men,”
27 Had I not feared the wrath of the enemy,
Lest their adversaries should misunderstand,
Lest they should say, (AT)“Our hand is high;
And it is not the Lord who has done all this.” ’
28 “For they are a nation void of counsel,
Nor is there any understanding in them.
29 (AU)Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this,
That they would consider their (AV)latter end!
30 How could one chase a thousand,
And two put ten thousand to flight,
Unless their Rock (AW)had sold them,
And the Lord had surrendered them?
31 For their rock is not like our Rock,
(AX)Even our enemies themselves being judges.
32 For (AY)their vine is of the vine of Sodom
And of the fields of Gomorrah;
Their grapes are grapes of gall,
Their clusters are bitter.
33 Their wine is (AZ)the poison of serpents,

Sealed up among My treasures?

36 “For(BE) the Lord will judge His people
(BF)And have compassion on His servants,
When He sees that their power is gone,
And (BG)there is no one remaining, bond or free.
37 He will say: (BH)‘Where are their gods,
The rock in which they sought refuge?
38 Who ate the fat of their sacrifices,
And drank the wine of their drink offering?
Let them rise and help you,
And be your refuge.
39 ‘Now see that (BI)I, even I, am He,
And (BJ)there is no God besides Me;
(BK)I kill and I make alive;
I wound and I heal;
Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.
40 For I raise My hand to heaven,
And say, “As I live forever,
41 (BL)If I [i]whet My glittering sword,
And My hand takes hold on judgment,
I will render vengeance to My enemies,
And repay those who hate Me.
42 I will make My arrows drunk with blood,
And My sword shall devour flesh,
With the blood of the slain and the captives,
From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.” ’
43 “Rejoice,(BM) O Gentiles, with His [j]people;
For He will (BN)avenge the blood of His servants,
And render vengeance to His adversaries;
He (BO)will provide atonement for His land and His people.”
44 So Moses came with [k]Joshua the son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 Moses finished speaking all these words to all Israel, 46 and he said to them: (BP)“Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your (BQ)children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. 47 For it is not a [l]futile thing for you, because it is your (BR)life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess.”

48 Then the Lord spoke to Moses that very same day, saying: 49 (BS)“Go up this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, across from Jericho; view the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel as a possession; 50 and die on the mountain which you ascend, and be [m]gathered to your people, just as (BT)Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people; 51 because (BU)you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of [n]Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you (BV)did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel. 52 (BW)Yet you shall see the land before you, though you shall not go there, into the land which I am giving to the children of Israel.”

18 Adigu Dhagaxii ku dhalay ma aad xusuusnid,
Oo waad iska illowday Ilaahii ku dhalay.
19 Rabbiguna wuu arkay, oo wuu nacay,
Maxaa yeelay, wiilashiisii iyo gabdhihiisii ayaa isaga ka xanaajiyey.
20 Oo wuxuu yidhi, Wejigayga waan ka qarin doonaa,
Oo waxaan arki doonaa bal wixii ugu dambaystoodu noqon doonto.
Waayo, iyagu waa qarni aad u qalloocan
Iyo carruur aan iimaan lahayn.
21 Wax aan Ilaah ahayn bay igaga hinaasiyeen,
Oo waxay igaga cadhaysiiyeen waxyaalahoodii aan waxtarka lahayn,
Oo anna waxaan iyaga kaga hinaasin doonaa kuwo aan dad ahayn,
Oo waxaan kaga cadhaysiin doonaa quruun nacas ah.
22 Waayo, dab baa ka qaxmay cadhadaydii,
Oo wuxuu gubaa ilaa meesha ugu hoosaysa ee She'ool,
Dhulkana wuu baabbi'iyaa iyo waxa ka baxaba.
Oo wuxuu dab ku dhejiyaa aasaaska buuraha.
23 Waxaan korkooda ku tuuli doonaa belaayooyin,
Oo fallaadhahaygana iyagaan ku gani doonaa.
24 Waxay ku baabbi'i doonaan gaajo, oo waxay ku guban doonaan kulayl qaxmaya
Iyo halligaad qadhaadh,
Oo waxaan ku diri doonaa ilkaha dugaagga,
Iyo waabayda waxyaalaha ciidda ku gurguurta.
25 Dibadda waxaa ku layn doona seef, guryaha gudahoodana cabsi,
Oo barbaar iyo bikrad iyo naasnuug iyo oday cirro lehba way wada baabbi'i doonaan.
26 Waxaan idhi, Iyaga meel fog baan ku kala firdhin lahaa,
Oo xusuustoodana dadka dhexdiisa waan ka joojin lahaa,
27 Haddaanan ka cabsanin cadowga cadhadiisa,
Waaba intaasoo ay cadaawayaashoodu si xun u macaamiloodaan,
Oo ay yidhaahdaan, Gacantayadii waa sarraysaa,
Oo waxyaalahan oo dhan Rabbigu ma uu samayn.
28 Waayo, iyagu waa quruun aan talo lahayn,
Oo innaba waxgarasho kuma jirto.
29 Bal may caqli yeeshaan, oo ay waxan gartaan,
Oo bal may ka fikiraan ugu dambaystooda!
30 Haddaan Dhagaxoodii iyaga iibin,
Oo aan Rabbigu iyaga gacanta u gelin,
Sidee baa nin keliya kun u eryi karaa?
Labase sidee bay toban kun u didin karaan?
31 Dhagaxoodu ma aha sida Dhagaxayaga.
Oo xataa cadaawayaashayada qudhoodu waxaas way kala gartaan.
32 Waayo, geedcanabkoodu wuxuu ka yimid geedcanabkii Sodom,
Iyo kii ku yiil beerihii Gomora.
Canabkoodu waa midho sumeed,
Rucubyadooduna waa qadhaadh.
33 Khamrigoodu waa jebiso waabaydeed,
Iyo mariidka xun ee jilbiska.
34 Tanu sow ilama kaydsana,
Iyadoo shaabadaysan oo khasnadahayga ku dhex jirta?
35 Aarsasho iyo abaalmarinba anigaa iska leh,
Markay cagtoodu simbiriirixan doonto,
Waayo, maalintii masiibadoodu waa dhow dahay,
Oo waxyaalaha iyaga ku soo kor degi doona ayaa deddejin doona.
36 Maxaa yeelay, Rabbigu dadkiisa wuu xukumi doonaa,
Oo addoommadiisana wuu ka nixi doonaa,
Markuu arko in xooggoodii dhammaaday,
Oo aan midna ku hadhin, mid xidhan iyo mid furan toona.
37 Oo wuxuu odhan doonaa, Bal meeye ilaahyadoodii,
Iyo dhagaxii ay isku halleeyeen,
38 Oo cunay baruurtii allabaryadooda,
Oo cabbay khamrigii qurbaankoodii cabniinka ahaa?
Haddaba ha soo kaceen, oo ha idin caawiyeen,
Oo iyagu ha idin daafaceen.
39 Haddaba bal eega inaan aniga qudhuhu ahay isagii,
Oo aniga mooyaane aan ilaah kale jirin.
Wax baan dilaa, waanan soo nooleeyaa.
Wax baan dhaawacaa, waanan bogsiiyaa.
Mana jiro mid gacantayda wax ka samatabbixin karaa.
40 Waayo, gacantayda ayaan xagga samada kor ugu qaadaa,
Oo waxaan leeyahay, Weligay waan noolahay.
41 Haddaan listo seeftayda dhalaalaysa,
Oo gacantayduna xukun qabsato,
Cadaawayaashayda waan ka aarsan doonaa,
Oo kuwa i necebna waan u abaalgudi doonaa.
42 Fallaadhahayga waan ku sakhraamin doonaa
Kuwa la dilay iyo maxaabiista dhiiggooda,
Oo seeftayduna waxay hilib ka cuni doontaa
Madaxa hoggaamiyayaasha cadowga.
43 Quruumahow, dadkiisa la reyreeya,
Waayo, isagu wuu aaran doonaa dhiiggii addoommadiisa,
Oo cadaawayaashiisana wuu ka aarsan doonaa,
Oo dalkiisa iyo dadkiisana buu u kafaaro gudi doonaa.
44 Markaasaa Muuse yimid oo gabaygan erayadiisii oo dhan kula hadlay dhegihii dadka, isaga iyo Yashuuca[a] ina Nuunba. 45 Markaasaa Muuse dhammeeyey hadalkii uu erayadan oo dhan kula hadlayay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, 46 oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Qalbigiinna ku qabsada kulli erayadan aan maanta idiin sheegay oo dhan, kuwaasoo aad carruurtiinna ku amri doontaan si ay u dhawraan oo u wada yeelaan sharcigan erayadiisa oo dhan. 47 Waayo, taasu idiinma aha wax aan waxtar lahayn, maxaa yeelay, waaba naftiinnii, oo waxyaalahaas daraaddood ayaa cimrigiinnu ugu dheeraan doonaa dalka aad Webi Urdun uga gudbaysaan inaad hantidaan.

48 Oo Rabbigu isla maalintaas qudheeda wuu la hadlay Muuse oo wuxuu ku yidhi, 49 Waxaad fuushaa buurtan Cabaariim, oo ah Buur Nebo oo ku dhex taal dalka reer Moo'aab, oo ka soo hor jeeda Yerixoo, oo bal waxaad fiirisaa dalka reer Kancaan oo aan reer binu Israa'iil hantida u siinayo, 50 oo kolkaas ku dhimo buurta aad fuulaysid, oo dadkaagii la urur, sidii walaalkaa Haaruunba ugu dhintay Buur Xor, oo uu dadkiisii ula ururay, 51 maxaa yeelay, waad igu xadgudubteen idinkoo reer binu Israa'iil dhex jooga markaad joogteen biyihii Meriibaah oo ku taal Qaadeesh, oo cidladii Sin ku dhex taal, waayo, reer binu Israa'iil dhexdooda quduus igagama aydaan dhigin. 52 Haddaba dalka hortaadaad ka arki doontaa, laakiinse geli maysid dalka aan reer binu Israa'iil siinayo.
