Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.(A)

Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him(B) and revering him.(C) For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land(D)—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;(E) a land with wheat and barley,(F) vines(G) and fig trees,(H) pomegranates, olive oil and honey;(I) a land where bread(J) will not be scarce and you will lack nothing;(K) a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.(L)

10 When you have eaten and are satisfied,(M) praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget(N) the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

11 Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
