²⁶ And they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods whom they have not known and whom He had not apportioned to them.

⁹ And they will say, ‘^(A)Because they forsook Yahweh their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and took hold of other gods and worshiped them and served them, therefore Yahweh has brought all this calamity on them.’”

² And they will spread them out to the sun, the moon, and to all the ^(A)host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served, and which they have walked after and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered ^(B)or buried; ^(C)they will be as dung on the face of the ground.

^21 [a]But as for those whose hearts walk after their ^(A)detestable things and abominations, I will ^(B)give what is due for their way on their heads,” declares Lord Yahweh.

³ For ^(A)the time already past is sufficient for you to have worked out the desire of the Gentiles, ^[a](B)having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and ^[b]abominable idolatries.
