⁵ But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be ^(A)put to death because he has ^[a]counseled ^[b]rebellion against Yahweh your God who brought you from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of ^[c]slavery, ^(B)to drive you from the way in which Yahweh your God commanded you to walk. ^(C)So you shall purge the evil from among you.

^7 (A)The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. ^(B)So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

¹² And the man who acts ^(A)presumptuously by not listening to the priest who stands there to minister to Yahweh your God, or to the judge, that man shall die; thus you shall purge the evil from Israel.

^21 (A)Then all the men of his city shall stone him, and he will die; so ^(B)you shall purge the evil from your midst, and ^(C)all Israel will hear of it and fear.

²¹ then they shall bring out the girl to the doorway of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her, and she will die because she has ^(A)committed a disgraceful act in Israel by playing the harlot in her father’s house; thus ^(B)you shall purge the evil from among you.

² And ^[a]you ^(A)have become puffed up and ^[b]have not ^(B)mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be ^(C)removed from your midst.
