Deuteronomy 11:10-12
Easy-to-Read Version
10 The land that you will get is not like the land of Egypt that you came from. In Egypt you planted your seeds and used your feet to pump water from the canals to water your fields like a vegetable garden. 11 But the land that you will soon get is not like that. In Israel there are mountains and valleys, and the land gets its water from the rain that falls from the sky. 12 The Lord your God cares for that land. The Lord your God watches over it, from the beginning to the end of the year.

New International Version
10 The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt,(A) from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden. 11 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys(B) that drinks rain from heaven.(C) 12 It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes(D) of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.
