Deuteronomy 2:36-37

New King James Version

³⁶^(A)From Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, and from ^(B)the city that is in the ravine, as far as Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us; ^(C)the Lord our God delivered all to us. ³⁷Only you did not go near the land of the people of Ammon—anywhere along the River ^(D)Jabbok, or to the cities of the mountains, or ^(E)wherever the Lord our God had forbidden us.

³⁶From Aroer^(A) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead,^(B) not one town was too strong for us. The Lord our God gave^(C) us all of them. ³⁷But in accordance with the command of the Lord our God,^(D) you did not encroach on any of the land of the Ammonites,^(E) neither the land along the course of the Jabbok^(F) nor that around the towns in the hills.
