Reina-Valera Antigua

16 GUARDARAS el mes de Abib, y harás pascua á Jehová tu Dios: porque en el mes de Abib te sacó Jehová tu Dios de Egipto de noche.

²Y sacrificarás la pascua á Jehová tu Dios, de las ovejas y de las vacas, en el lugar que Jehová escogiere para hacer habitar allí su nombre.

³No comerás con ella leudo; siete días comerás con ella pan por leudar, pan de aflicción, porque apriesa saliste de tierra de Egipto: para que te acuerdes del día en que saliste de la tierra de Egipto todos los días de tu vida.

⁴Y no se dejará ver levadura contigo en todo tu término por siete días; y de la carne que matares á la tarde del primer día, no quedará hasta la mañana.

⁵No podrás sacrificar la pascua en ninguna de tus ciudades, que Jehová tu Dios te da;

⁶Sino en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios escogiere para hacer habitar allí su nombre, sacrificarás la pascua por la tarde á puesta del sol, al tiempo que saliste de Egipto:

⁷Y la asarás y comerás en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido; y por la mañana te volverás y restituirás á tu morada.

⁸Seis días comerás ázimos, y el séptimo día será solemnidad á Jehová tu Dios: no harás obra en él.

⁹Siete semanas te contarás: desde que comenzare la hoz en las mieses comenzarás á contarte las siete semanas.

¹⁰Y harás la solemnidad de las semanas á Jehová tu Dios: de la suficiencia voluntaria de tu mano será lo que dieres, según Jehová tu Dios te hubiere bendecido.

¹¹Y te alegrarás delante de Jehová tu Dios, tú, y tu hijo, y tu hija, y tu siervo, y tu sierva, y el Levita que estuviere en tus ciudades, y el extranjero, y el huérfano, y la viuda, que estuvieren en medio de ti, en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido para hacer habitar allí su nombre.

¹²Y acuérdate que fuiste siervo en Egipto; por tanto guardarás y cumplirás estos estatutos.

¹³La solemnidad de las cabañas harás por siete días, cuando hubieres hecho la cosecha de tu era y de tu lagar.

¹⁴Y te alegrarás en tus solemnidades, tú, y tu hijo, y tu hija, y tu siervo, y tu sierva, y el Levita, y el extranjero, y el huérfano, y la viuda, que están en tus poblaciones.

¹⁵Siete días celebrarás solemnidad á Jehová tu Dios en el lugar que Jehová escogiere; porque te habrá bendecido Jehová tu Dios en todos tus frutos, y en toda obra de tus manos, y estarás ciertamente alegre.

¹⁶Tres veces cada un año parecerá todo varón tuyo delante de Jehová tu Dios en el lugar que él escogiere: en la solemnidad de los ázimos, y en la solemnidad de las semanas, y en la solemnidad de las cabañas. Y no parecerá vacío delante de Jehová:

¹⁷Cada uno con el don de su mano, conforme á la bendición de Jehová tu Dios, que te hubiere dado.

¹⁸Jueces y alcaldes te pondrás en todas tus ciudades que Jehová tu Dios te dará en tus tribus, los cuales juzgarán al pueblo con justo juicio.

¹⁹No tuerzas el derecho; no hagas acepción de personas, ni tomes soborno; porque el soborno ciega los ojos de los sabios, y pervierte las palabras de los justos.

²⁰La justicia, la justicia seguirás, porque vivas y heredes la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.

²¹No te plantarás bosque de ningún árbol cerca del altar de Jehová tu Dios, que tú te habrás hecho.

²²Ni te levantarás estatua; lo cual aborrece Jehová tu Dios.

The Passover Reviewed^(A)

16 “Observe the ^(B)month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for ^(C)in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night. ²Therefore you shall sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God, from the flock and ^(D)the herd, in the ^(E)place where the Lord chooses to put His name. ³You shall eat no leavened bread with it; ^(F)seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it, that is, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), that you may ^(G)remember the day in which you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. ⁴^(H)And no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days, nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day at twilight remain overnight until ^(I)morning.

⁵“You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which the Lord your God gives you; ⁶but at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide, there you shall sacrifice the Passover ^(J)at twilight, at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt. ⁷And you shall roast and eat it ^(K)in the place which the Lord your God chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. ⁸Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and ^(L)on the seventh day there shall be a ^[a]sacred assembly to the Lord your God. You shall do no work on it.

The Feast of Weeks Reviewed^(M)

⁹“You shall count seven weeks for yourself; begin to count the seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain. ¹⁰Then you shall keep the ^(N)Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give ^(O)as the Lord your God blesses you. ¹¹^(P)You shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. ¹²^(Q)And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall be careful to observe these statutes.

The Feast of Tabernacles Reviewed^(R)

¹³^(S)“You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days, when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from your winepress. ¹⁴And ^(T)you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your ^[b]gates. ¹⁵^(U)Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.

¹⁶^(V)“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and ^(W)they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. ¹⁷Every man shall give as he is able, ^(X)according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.

Justice Must Be Administered

¹⁸“You shall appoint ^(Y)judges and officers in all your ^[c]gates, which the Lord your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment. ¹⁹^(Z)You shall not pervert justice; ^(AA)you shall not ^[d]show partiality, ^(AB)nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and ^[e]twists the words of the righteous. ²⁰You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may ^(AC)live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

²¹^(AD)“You shall not plant for yourself any tree, as a ^[f]wooden image, near the altar which you build for yourself to the Lord your God. ²²^(AE)You shall not set up a sacred pillar, which the Lord your God hates.

16 »Observarás el mes de Abib^(A) y celebrarás^[a] la Pascua al Señor^(B) tu Dios, porque en el mes de Abib el Señor tu Dios te sacó de Egipto de noche. ²Sacrificarás la Pascua al Señor tu Dios con ofrendas de tus rebaños y de tus manadas, en el lugar que el Señor escoja para poner allí Su nombre. ³No comerás la Pascua con^[b] pan con levadura. Siete días comerás con ella pan sin levadura^(C), pan de aflicción (porque aprisa saliste de la tierra de Egipto), para que recuerdes todos los días de tu vida^(D) el día que saliste de la tierra de Egipto. ⁴Durante siete días no se verá contigo levadura en todo tu territorio. De la carne que sacrifiques en la tarde del primer día, no quedará nada para la mañana siguiente^(E).

⁵»No podrás sacrificar la Pascua en cualquiera de las ciudades^[c] que el Señor tu Dios te da, ⁶sino que en el lugar que el Señor tu Dios escoja para poner allí Su nombre^(F), sacrificarás la Pascua al atardecer, al ponerse el sol, a la hora en que saliste de Egipto. ⁷La asarás y la comerás^(G) en el lugar que el Señor tu Dios escoja. Luego, por la mañana, regresarás a tu habitación. ⁸Seis días comerás pan sin levadura, y en el séptimo día habrá una asamblea solemne para el Señor tu Dios^(H). Ningún trabajo harás^(I) en él.

Fiesta de las Semanas

⁹»^(J)Vas a contar siete semanas. Comenzarás a contar siete semanas desde el momento en que empieces a meter la hoz a la cosecha. ¹⁰Entonces celebrarás^[d] la Fiesta de las Semanas al Señor tu Dios con el tributo de una ofrenda voluntaria de tu mano, la cual darás según el Señor tu Dios te haya bendecido. ¹¹Y te alegrarás delante del Señor tu Dios^(K), tú, tu hijo, tu hija, tu siervo, tu sierva, el levita que habita en tus ciudades^(L), y el extranjero, el huérfano y la viuda que están en medio de ti^(M), en el lugar donde el Señor tu Dios escoja para poner allí Su nombre. ¹²Te acordarás de que fuiste esclavo en Egipto^(N); cuídate de guardar estos estatutos.

Fiesta de los Tabernáculos

¹³»^(O)Durante siete días celebrarás^[e] la Fiesta de los Tabernáculos^[f], cuando hayas recogido el producto de tu era y de tu lagar. ¹⁴Y te alegrarás en tu fiesta, tú, con tu hijo y tu hija, tu siervo y tu sierva, el levita y el extranjero, el huérfano y la viuda que están en tus ciudades^(P). ¹⁵Siete días celebrarás fiesta al Señor tu Dios en el lugar que escoja el Señor; porque el Señor tu Dios te bendecirá en todos tus productos y en toda la obra de tus manos; por tanto, estarás realmente alegre. ¹⁶Tres veces al año se presentarán todos tus varones delante del Señor tu Dios en el lugar que Él escoja: en la Fiesta de los Panes sin Levadura^(Q), en la Fiesta de las Semanas y en la Fiesta de los Tabernáculos^[g]; y no se presentarán con las manos vacías delante del Señor^(R). ¹⁷Cada hombre dará lo que pueda^[h], de acuerdo con la bendición que el Señor tu Dios te haya dado.

Administración de la justicia

¹⁸»Nombrarás jueces y oficiales en todas las ciudades que el Señor tu Dios te da, según tus tribus, y ellos juzgarán al pueblo con justo juicio. ¹⁹No torcerás la justicia^(S); no harás acepción de personas, ni tomarás soborno^(T), porque el soborno ciega los ojos del sabio y pervierte las palabras del justo^(U). ²⁰La justicia, y solo la justicia buscarás, para que vivas y poseas la tierra que el Señor tu Dios te da^(V).

²¹»No plantarás para ti Asera^[i]^(W) de ninguna clase de árbol junto al altar del Señor tu Dios que harás para ti. ²²Ni levantarás para ti pilar sagrado^(X), lo cual aborrece el Señor tu Dios.

New International Version

The Passover^(A)

16 Observe the month of Aviv^(B) and celebrate the Passover^(C) of the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv he brought you out of Egypt by night. ²Sacrifice as the Passover to the Lord your God an animal from your flock or herd at the place the Lord will choose as a dwelling for his Name.^(D) ³Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the bread of affliction,^(E) because you left Egypt in haste^(F)—so that all the days of your life you may remember the time of your departure from Egypt.^(G) ⁴Let no yeast be found in your possession in all your land for seven days. Do not let any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening^(H) of the first day remain until morning.^(I)

⁵You must not sacrifice the Passover in any town the Lord your God gives you ⁶except in the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. There you must sacrifice the Passover in the evening, when the sun goes down, on the anniversary^[a]^(J) of your departure from Egypt. ⁷Roast^(K) it and eat it at the place the Lord your God will choose. Then in the morning return to your tents. ⁸For six days eat unleavened bread and on the seventh day hold an assembly^(L) to the Lord your God and do no work.^(M)

The Festival of Weeks^(N)

⁹Count off seven weeks^(O) from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.^(P) ¹⁰Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. ¹¹And rejoice^(Q) before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name^(R)—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites^(S) in your towns, and the foreigners,^(T) the fatherless and the widows living among you.^(U) ¹²Remember that you were slaves in Egypt,^(V) and follow carefully these decrees.

The Festival of Tabernacles^(W)

¹³Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor^(X) and your winepress.^(Y) ¹⁴Be joyful^(Z) at your festival—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns. ¹⁵For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy^(AA) will be complete.

¹⁶Three times a year all your men must appear^(AB) before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread,^(AC) the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles.^(AD) No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:^(AE) ¹⁷Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.

Judges

¹⁸Appoint judges^(AF) and officials for each of your tribes in every town the Lord your God is giving you, and they shall judge the people fairly.^(AG) ¹⁹Do not pervert justice^(AH) or show partiality.^(AI) Do not accept a bribe,^(AJ) for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent. ²⁰Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Worshiping Other Gods

²¹Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole^(AK) beside the altar you build to the Lord your God,^(AL) ²²and do not erect a sacred stone,^(AM) for these the Lord your God hates.
