²² He reveals deep and hidden things;^(A)
    he knows what lies in darkness,^(B)
    and light^(C) dwells with him.

⁶ and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom,^(A)
    for true wisdom has two sides.
    Know this: God has even forgotten some of your sin.^(B)

⁷ “Can you fathom^(C) the mysteries of God?
    Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
    so as to instruct him?”^[a](A)

¹⁴ The Lord confides^(A) in those who fear him;
    he makes his covenant known^(B) to them.

⁷ Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
    without revealing his plan^(A)
    to his servants the prophets.^(B)
