¹⁵ For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy^(A) will be complete.

³⁶ For seven days present food offerings to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly^(A) and present a food offering to the Lord.^(B) It is the closing special assembly; do no regular work.

³⁷ (“‘These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing food offerings to the Lord—the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings^(C) required for each day. ³⁸ These offerings^(D) are in addition to those for the Lord’s Sabbaths^(E) and^[a] in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings^(F) you give to the Lord.)

³⁹ “‘So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival^(G) to the Lord for seven days;^(H) the first day is a day of sabbath rest, and the eighth day also is a day of sabbath rest. ⁴⁰ On the first day you are to take branches^(I) from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees^(J)—and rejoice^(K) before the Lord your God for seven days. ⁴¹ Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. ⁴² Live in temporary shelters^(L) for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters

¹⁶ For I command you today to love^(A) the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live^(B) and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

⁸ The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless^(A) you in the land he is giving you.

⁹ The Lord will establish you as his holy people,^(B) as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands^(C) of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. ¹⁰ Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name^(D) of the Lord, and they will fear you. ¹¹ The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock^(E) and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.^(F)

¹² The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse^(G) of his bounty,^(H) to send rain^(I) on your land in season and to bless^(J) all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.^(K)

¹⁰ Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you.

¹³ He will love you and bless you^(A) and increase your numbers.^(B) He will bless the fruit of your womb,^(C) the crops of your land—your grain, new wine^(D) and olive oil^(E)—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.^(F)

The Festival of Tabernacles^(A)

¹² “‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh^(B) month,^(C) hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. Celebrate a festival to the Lord for seven days. ¹³ Present as an aroma pleasing to the Lord^(D) a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of thirteen young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(E) 14} With each of the thirteen bulls offer a grain offering^(F) of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with each of the two rams, two-tenths; ¹⁵ and with each of the fourteen lambs, one-tenth.^{(G) 16} Include one male goat as a sin offering,^(H) in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.^(I)

¹⁷ “‘On the second day^(J) offer twelve young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(K) 18} With the bulls, rams and lambs, offer their grain offerings^(L) and drink offerings^(M) according to the number specified.^{(N) 19} Include one male goat as a sin offering,^(O) in addition to the regular burnt offering^(P) with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.^(Q)

²⁰ “‘On the third day offer eleven bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(R) 21} With the bulls, rams and lambs, offer their grain offerings and drink offerings according to the number specified.^{(S) 22} Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
