¹⁷ For the Lord your God is ^(A)God of gods and ^(B)Lord of lords, ^(C)the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is ^(D)not partial and takes no bribe.

Gentiles Hear the Good News

³⁴ So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that ^(A)God ^(B)shows no partiality,

¹¹ For ^(A)God shows no partiality.

⁶ And from those ^(A)who seemed to be influential (what they were makes no difference to me; ^(B)God shows no partiality)—those, I say, who seemed influential ^(C)added nothing to me.

⁴⁷ The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your ^(A)God is God of gods and ^(B)Lord of kings, and ^(C)a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

³² “Now, therefore, our God, ^(A)the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love, let not all the hardship seem little to you that has come upon us, upon our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and all your people, ^(B)since the time of the kings of Assyria until this day.

²¹ You shall not be in dread of them, for the Lord your God is ^(A)in your midst, ^(B)a great and awesome God.

¹⁶ On his robe and on his thigh ^(A)he has a name written, ^(B)King of kings and Lord of lords.

⁹ Masters, do the same to them, ^(A)and stop your threatening, knowing that ^(B)he who is both their Master^[a] and yours is in heaven, and that ^(C)there is no partiality with him.
