³² In spite of this,^(A) you did not trust^(B) in the Lord your God,

⁵ Though you already know all this,^(A) I want to remind you^(B) that the Lord^[a] at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.^(C)

¹⁸ And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest^(A) if not to those who disobeyed?^{(B) 19} So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.^(C)

¹² See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.^(A)

²⁰ Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith^(A) in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.^(B)”
