² that ^(A)you may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son's son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and ^(B)that your days may be long.

^40 (A)Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, ^(B)that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

¹³ The end of the matter; all has been heard. ^(A)Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.^[a]

⁴ You shall ^(A)walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and ^(B)hold fast to him.

^20 (A)Moses said to the people, “Do not fear, for God has come to ^(B)test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.”
