23 Then the king was greatly pleased and said for Daniel to be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and (A)no harm whatsoever was found on him because he had (B)believed in his God. 24 The king then said the word, and they brought those men who had [a]brought charges against Daniel, and they (C)cast them, their (D)children, and their wives into the lions’ den; and they had not reached the bottom of the den before the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.

25 Then Darius the king wrote to all the (E)peoples, nations, and men of every tongue who were inhabiting all the land: “(F)May your [b]peace abound!

24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

Darius Honors God
