⁷ And I heard ^(A)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; ^(B)he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and ^(C)swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a ^(D)time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of ^(E)the power of ^(F)the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.

¹⁴ But the woman was given the two ^(A)wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent ^(B)into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished ^(C)for a time, and times, and half a time.

²⁴ His power shall be great—^(A)but not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction ^(B)and shall succeed in what he does, ^(C)and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints.

⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land ^(A)raised his right hand to heaven ⁶ and swore by ^(B)him who lives forever and ever, ^(C)who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, ⁷ but that ^(D)in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, ^(E)just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

⁵ And the beast was given ^(A)a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for ^(B)forty-two months.

⁶ and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for ^(A)1,260 days.

² but do not measure ^(A)the court outside the temple; leave that out, for ^(B)it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for ^(C)forty-two months. ³ And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for ^(D)1,260 days, ^(E)clothed in sackcloth.”

²⁴ They will fall by the edge of the sword and ^(A)be led captive among all nations, and ^(B)Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, ^(C)until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
