Vision of the Ancient of Days

¹⁴ His head and ^(A)hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and ^(B)His eyes like a flame of fire;

³ His clothes became shining, exceedingly ^(A)white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

²² until the Ancient of Days came, ^(A)and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

^18 (A)that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, ^[a]free and slave, both small and great.”

^19 (B)And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. ^20 (C)Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and ^(D)those who worshiped his image. ^(E)These two were cast alive into the lake of fire ^(F)burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest ^(G)were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. ^(H)And all the birds ^(I)were filled with their flesh.

Satan Bound 1,000 Years

20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, ^(J)having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. ² He laid hold of ^(K)the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; ³ and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and ^(L)set a seal on him, ^(M)so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years

⁴ And I saw ^(N)thrones, and they sat on them, and ^(O)judgment was committed to them. Then I saw ^(P)the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, ^(Q)who had not worshiped the beast ^(R)or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they ^(S)lived and ^(T)reigned with Christ for ^[b]a thousand years.

² and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

The Coming Messiah

⁷ and to give you who are troubled ^(A)rest with us when ^(B)the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, ⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
