⁶ And someone said to ^(A)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,^{[a] (B)}“How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”

¹³ Then I heard ^(A)a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, ^(B)“For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, ^(C)the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?”

² And behold, six men came from the direction of ^(A)the upper gate, which faces north, each with his weapon for slaughter in his hand, and with them was ^(B)a man clothed in linen, with a writing case at his waist. And they went in and stood beside ^(C)the bronze altar.

¹² Then ^(A)the angel of the Lord said, ^(B)‘O Lord of hosts, ^(C)how long will you ^(D)have no mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which you have been angry these ^(E)seventy years?’ ¹³ And the Lord answered ^(F)gracious and comforting words to ^(G)the angel who talked with me.

^5 (A)I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, ^(B)a man clothed in linen, ^(C)with a belt of fine ^(D)gold from Uphaz around his waist. ⁶ His body was like ^(E)beryl, his face ^(F)like the appearance of lightning, ^(G)his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and ^(H)legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and ^(I)the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.

^16 (A)And I heard a man's voice ^(B)between the banks of the ^(C)Ulai, and it called, ^(D)“Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.”

¹⁴ And the armies of heaven, ^(A)arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, ^(B)were following him on white horses.

⁶ and out of the sanctuary came ^(A)the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright ^(B)linen, ^(C)with golden sashes around their chests.

^2 (A)He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, ³ and called out with a loud voice, ^(B)like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. ⁴ And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, ^(C)“Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land ^(D)raised his right hand to heaven
