⁴¹ He shall come into ^(A)the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: ^(B)Edom and ^(C)Moab and the main part of the ^(D)Ammonites.

⁶ “But ^(A)afterward I will restore the fortunes of the Ammonites, declares the Lord.”

⁴⁵ And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.

¹⁶ But he who comes against him shall ^(A)do as he wills, and ^(B)none shall stand before him. And he shall stand in ^(C)the glorious land, with destruction in his hand.

⁹ Out of one of them came ^(A)a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward ^(B)the south, toward the east, and toward ^(C)the glorious land.

^26 (A)Egypt, Judah, Edom, the sons of Ammon, Moab, and ^(B)all who dwell in the desert who cut the corners of their hair, for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are ^(C)uncircumcised in heart.”

^8 (A)After many days you will be mustered. ^(B)In the latter years you will go against ^(C)the land that is restored from war, the land whose people ^(D)were gathered from many peoples upon ^(E)the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and ^(F)now dwell securely, all of them. ⁹ You will advance, coming on ^(G)like a storm. You will be ^(H)like a cloud covering the land, you and all your ^(I)hordes, and many peoples with you.

¹⁰ “Thus says the Lord God: On that day, ^(J)thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme ¹¹ and say, ‘I will go up against ^(K)the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon ^(L)the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’ ¹² to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against ^(M)the waste places that are now inhabited, and ^(N)the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, ^(O)who dwell at the center of the earth. ^13 (P)Sheba and ^(Q)Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all ^(R)its leaders^[a] will say to you, ‘Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?’
