18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

19 Then I saw the beast(D) and the kings of the earth(E) and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse(F) and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet(G) who had performed the signs(H) on its behalf.(I) With these signs he had deluded(J) those who had received the mark of the beast(K) and worshiped its image.(L) The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake(M) of burning sulfur.(N) 21 The rest were killed with the sword(O) coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse,(P) and all the birds(Q) gorged themselves on their flesh.

The Thousand Years

20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven,(R) having the key(S) to the Abyss(T) and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan,(U) and bound him for a thousand years.(V) He threw him into the Abyss,(W) and locked and sealed(X) it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations(Y) anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

I saw thrones(Z) on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge.(AA) And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded(AB) because of their testimony about Jesus(AC) and because of the word of God.(AD) They[a] had not worshiped the beast(AE) or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.(AF) They came to life and reigned(AG) with Christ a thousand years.

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
