Unity and Diversity in the Body

¹² Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body,^(A) so it is with Christ.^(B)

¹³ until we all reach unity^(A) in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God^(B) and become mature,^(C) attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.^(D)

⁶ so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify^(A) the God and Father^(B) of our Lord Jesus Christ.

² then make my joy complete^(A) by being like-minded,^(B) having the same love, being one^(C) in spirit and of one mind.

³ Make every effort to keep the unity^(A) of the Spirit through the bond of peace.^{(B) 4} There is one body^(C) and one Spirit,^(D) just as you were called to one hope when you were called^(E); ⁵ one Lord,^(F) one faith, one baptism;

¹³ For we were all baptized^(A) by^[a] one Spirit^(B) so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free^(C)—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.^(D)
